Eaten By Sharks have released their debut album entitled "We're Gonna Need A Bigger Boat". This album shows the band in a very technical way. These guys are very heavy and chaotic in their sound. They have a similar sound to that of a Beneath The Massacre, or The Contortionist, so if you like those bands, you could really like this band. The band has done an alright job here.

When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to just an okay level. The music sounds like it could be off the floor in some parts, and the vocals have a grungy and gritty sound to them. They could use a clearer, cleaned up recording in general to this album, and it could work to up this album. The instrumentation on this album is what really stands out though. This band can certainly play, and for a tech band, this is essential because this is what fans are looking for. These guys have done a really good job on this part of the album and this is the main piece to this album.

Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are not too bad. You can hear the growls and screams have a nice solid sound to them. There is a little bit of work to be done, but it certainly works for the sound and style they are going for, plus he can do metal vocals. With the lyrics, the band likes to go for a lot of nautical themes in their lyrics. They have themes of gore, monsters, and being frustrated with the world. These are some typical themes bands in this genre talk about. Fans that like gruesome lyrics will like tis band, and they have done a really good job with the stories on their songs. Feel like people will like this.

Dear Black Diary have released their debut album which is self-titled.  This album has a very dark and heavy feel to it. They have a very all over the place sound,  and very chaoticness to their music. These guys have a similar sound to that of a From A Second Story Window or even in that realm of that Heavy Heavy Low Low stuff. They have done a pretty good job on this album.

When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an average standard really. The recording isn't great, but its not bad either. We do however suggest that the style of music they play, could help in this with all the chaotic things going on. The instrumentation here is done pretty decently, a it's hard to play all over the place, while still holding a sense of cohesion.  These guys do that, and still show their musical talent. We think this is a good effort on the instrumentation and peaks our interest to hear more. 

Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are done pretty well. The bands vocalist can certainly scream. This does however take away from the ability to hear what the lyrics are and what the song is about. he certainly can hold his screams and go for a long time too, which is pretty impressive. All in all, we fell the vocals are done well for the style the band is going for. With the lyrics, it is pretty hard to decipher what they are saying, as the screaming is intense and there is no record of any lyrics online or in the liner notes of the album. This makes it especially hard for people who are big lyrics and meaning music lovers, to get into this album. However we do not feel this album was made for music fans who listen that way. 

If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Life Is The Number One Cause Of Death" your attention, as this is the best song o n the album, and really gives you a solid sense of what the band is about as well as how the rest of the album sounds.

Dear Black Diary have made a debut album that is chaotic and heavy. This album shows off their style and sound to the masses for the first time and helps people to know what they are about. We are not to big on this genre of metal or type of music, but we do see t he potential in this band. We would love to hear more and see whats next for these guys. Ending Tyranny have released their third album titled "Evolution Of Deceit." This album has quite a similar style and sound of their previous albums. The band goes for those growled death metal vocals and high sheiks to give them the typical death metal sound. These guys have a similar sound to that of a Beneath The Massacre, or a Suicide Silence, so if you are into either of those bands, you could like this album. They have done a solid job here. When looking at the instrumentation on this album, we feel this is the biggest change here. These guys have decided to turn it up a notch with faster guitars and heavy on the double kick, these guys can play fast and loud. Now onto the vocals and the lyrics, the vocals on this record are pretty growled and hard to understand just what they are singing about. This being said, they do a pretty solid job of melding the vocals to the harsh music the rest of the band is playing. With the lyrics, although hard to hear, the band sings about social and political issues throughout this album. We feel not a lot of bands do this in the metal genre, so we respect them for that for sure. The band has a message they want you to hear, and they stick to it. We feel that's a pretty good job. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one. We suggest you give the song "12 Palms" your attention, and this will give you an idea of the rest of this album. Ending Tyranny have followed the path of their previous album, making this one just faster and louder. We like the style and sound heard on this album. The guys in Ending Tyranny have to play more and get out there so more fans can hear what they are about. Other then this, we feel the band has done an overall solid job on this album. Nothing Left For Tomorrow have released their debut album titled "The Deafening Sound Of Metal." This album shows the band in a very heavy, sort of more euro metal style. They have female vocals and really like to bring in the deep growls and heavy guitars to their sound. They have a similar sound to that of Arch Enemy or The Agonist, so if you like those artists, you could like this album. They have done a pretty good job here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a not to bad standard here. It could use a little more work, but at the same time, it's pretty good for a debut album. The instrumentation on the album is pretty solid here, the band can certainly play and they show it off in all four of the songs. Solid in that aspect of this album. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are quite impressive actually. We can not believe that a chick can keep up the guttural vocals like that, now we know they can do it, it just isn't seen too often. She keeps the music heavy and her vocals go along with the music very well. impressed for sure here. With the lyrics, the band goes for songs that are just evil and have that metal feel to them, with songs about vengeance, death and hate. These are things bands in the metal genre usually hit on, so this band is going right for the center metal fan with them. not bad overall. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of this album. Nothing Left For Tomorrow have made an album that really shows off how the band wants to be perceived. They have that heavy , deep vocal style and they really hit you right from the get go. We hope the band can keep this up and we see an expanded version of this on the next album. We also hope to the the band out more and getting more people into them. really decent all in all. Ascariasis have released their debut album titled "Ocean Of Colour." This album shows off the band in a very metal way. The band has a very fast and heavy presence to their music, with deep screamed vocals that bring the powerful metal all together. They have a similar sound to that of an Amon Amarth or a Children Of Bodem, so if you are into either of those artists, you could really like this album. They have done a solid job here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, it has been recorded to a fairly decent quality. We can however hear a touch in the guitars that could be upped a bit. The instrumentation on this album is really solid. This band can play and they do it with a woosh right to your face. Really good playing here. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, now the vocals are screamed vocals, but the singer can do them quite impressively. He has the deep growls down pat, but unfortunately for anyone who wants to clearly hear the lyrics, that is not an option in this style of metal. With the lyrics, the band goes for messages about seeing the destruction you caused, No matter how good you are, things will happen if they are meant to happen, When there is nothing left we drift, etc. These lyrics are quite profound and go very well with the style of music the band is creating. We do feel that people will not be able to easily grasp the lyrics, it will take some listening, but music you really have to get into is the best music. One criticism is that the lyrics are a bit too short, that isn;t bad, but we personally would like more to each song. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of this album. Ascariasis have made a debut, welcome to album that really set the bar high. This band can certainly play and they have all the talent behind them. We do hope that the band can keep this up as it would be a shame to see them take a step down. Hopefully this band can also get out there and get more people to know about them. Solid job here. In The Act Of Violence have released their debut album titled "Hell From The Heavens." This album is a brutal punch to the face of metal. These guys like to do it heavy, with deep growled vocals. They have a similar sound to that of Emmure or a band like Within The Ruins, so if you like music like that, you could like this album. They have done an alright job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an alright quality. The instrumentation on this album is nothing that is  going to make you take notice of these guys, but they can play. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are very deep and brutal, but unfortunately they are on a level where you can't hear the lyrics, which is something we like to look at. There is however a market for growled vocals like this, and the singer can do it, we judge a little more on that. With the lyrics, the band goes for lyrics that are the most crazy and how "metal" they can be. Again there is a market for that, but we like more of a meaningful message in our music.  Not bad though. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of this album. In The Act Of Violence have made a heavy album that certainly will hit the metalhead crowd hard. They have a real solid foundation with this album, and it will get people to know what they are about. We hope that these guys keep going and build on this with their next album. Now they just need to hit more markets to get people to know about them. Terrorhorse have released their debut album titled "This Ain't No Goddamn Mirage." This album really shows off their heaviness of the band, and establishes that this is what they are about. They have a similar sound to that of bands like older Arch Enemy or Job For A Cowboy, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. We think they have done a pretty solid job here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an alright standard. Now we feel this is mainly that the music hasn't quite stood up to the new music tech out there, but that's okay because it is still good. The instrumentation on the album is not bad either, you can tell that these guys can play and it's a pretty nice and brutal sounding album. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals here are not bad for the style of metal these guys are going for, but it does make the lyrics a little hard to grasp. He has his screams down quite well and the voice really works well with this band. With the lyrics, the band goes for music that is a brutal as possible, not really going for any meaningful message, but just something metalheads can say how heavy and nasty the album is as a whole. Overall we think they did a good job here. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Terrorhorse has made a debut album that really shows how much they are going for that super metal sound. We think they have hit it and it will be nice to see what they can do on a larger scale with a full album. Hopefully this band can get out there more as well. Conjure have released their first 2 song set they titled "Burn Her, Kill Her" after the song of the same title. They have a heavy but older sounding style of metal. These guys have a similar sound to that of an 80's or early 90's metal band. If you like those type of bands, you could like these two songs. When looking at the recording quality of this album, it's not bad for what it is, but it certainly could use some more work. The instrumentation on the songs is nothing really to rave about either, they can play, but nothing the is going to turn your head. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on these songs are like a grungy 80's metal singer or on the slightest side of trying to sound like Danny Filth. He can sing and you can hear most of the words so thats nice. With the lyrics, the band goes for the most metal lyrics they can do. Singing about burning people and Homicide is pretty metal. Nothing really that is meaningful, but it will get a reaction out of listeners. If you are looking fot a single for this album, there isn't one, so just listen to the two songs if you are interested in this band, then you will know their sound. Conjure has made two metal songs that with a little more work on the vocal production, could be alright songs. We hope to see more from this band in the future. Misguided Aggression have released their second album titled "Flood The Common Ground." This album is quite the heavy older people style metal. They are pretty good for what they are doing though. This band has a similar sound to that of Threat Signal or even a Goatwhore, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. The band hasn't done that bad of a job on this album. When looking at the recording quality for this album, the album has been recorded fairly well, but could use a little bit of work. The instrumentation on this album is very typical for this style of metal, they can play alright, but nothing really to the progressive standard. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocalist of this band is pretty good, but you can notice he is stressing a bit.He doesn't quite have the power in the screams and they have an old feel to them. He can scream though. With the lyrics, this band has a bit of an angry way of going about them. The band goes more for a how metal they can make the lyrics as opposed to the meaningful message behind them. Not bad but could use a little work to be more meaningful. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea of this album. Misguided Aggression have made an album that just has the feel of not fitting into the popular scene and being more for the old metal fans in the run down bar in smaller towns. This Is Death Valley have released their debut album titled "We Are The Destroyer." This album is one that really has that heavy elements to it and they are also very hard hitting. These guys know how to bring it and have fit into their local scene very well. These guys have a similar sound the that of a Suicide Silence or even a Rings Of Saturn, so if you like those artists, you could very well like this album. This album has a very dirty and raw sound to which in the recording of the album might not have been to the best possible quality, that's okay though, it works with the style. The instrumentation on the album is not band, the band shows off hints of their ability here and there. These guys can play. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are very deep and screamed. At times you can't even tell what the vocalist is singing about. Then they also do pig squeals which just make it even harder. The vocals are certainly brutal though which is what the band is going for. With the lyrics, the band goes on with a message of deep, dark, heavy hate and just sing brutal lyrics to fit with their style. The lyrics are certainly not bad, just not to really send a message, just to listen to. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea of this album. This Is Death Valley have made a brutal metal album that will appeal to fans of heavy music and give them something they are looking for. Heaven Ablaze - Cerebral Catacombs

Heaven Ablaze have released their fourth album titled "Cerebral Catacombs." This album is one that really hits well in the heavier metal scene. They have gone for that trashy, growled vocals way that fits right into what the stereotypical metalhead listens to. They have a similar sound to that of Pantara or a Battlecross to an extent. If you like these bands, you could really like this album. These guys have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a fairly well standard, it could use a little work though. The instrumentation on this album is decent, they do grab your attention with some of the guitar work. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are all deep screams, and a bit of pig squeals mixed it at times. With them, they are a little hard to figure out what the vocalist is saying but if you listen a little closer you can get the joist. overall not a bad metal singer. With the lyrics, they are a little hard to understand and hear, but they have a more angry, death and evil message within them. There isn't really anything of real substance to them, just a story and some heavy music to rock to. if you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea of this album. Heaven Ablaze have made a brutal album that that really sounds good and works well all wrapped up together. All in all, not a bad album.
