We Are Human is the evolution of their previous band Misguided Aggression. This album shows the band in that heavy, dirty, grimy metal style that you see being played in the smaller, not as nice bars. They have more of a late 2000's style here, so we would suggest that if you like bands like Unearth, know Misguided Aggression or a Threat Signal, then you may like this album. They have done an alright job here. When looking at the recording quality on this album, the album has been recorded to a standard level. The recordings do sound a little dirty and grimy, but we are pretty sure that's what the band wanted. all in all, it is listenable and its a clear recording, so not bad. The instrumentation however is also pretty standard. These guys can certainly play, but it wont turn your head in terms of musicianship. This is just a regularly played album. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are a little bit low in the mix, and sounds a little rough. He certainly can sing though, and you can hear the words clear enough. They are more growly vocals, but we can make them out good enough. With the lyrics, the band goes for songs about doing the same thing over and expecting new results, making mistakes and more. This seems to be a repetitive theme in the songs, and they are something others can relate to. The lyrics are a little hard to get the meaning from, but thats what makes you delve into the song more. Not bad. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "New Scars, Old Habits" your attention as it best represents the album as a whole. We Are Human have made an album that follows what they were doing previously as musicians, and it would be too hard for someone to come over and like this as well. We would like to see a bigger sample of what the band can do, but for now, this isn't bad and we can't wait to see whats next. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.

Misguided Aggression have released their second album titled "Flood The Common Ground." This album is quite the heavy older people style metal. They are pretty good for what they are doing though. This band has a similar sound to that of Threat Signal or even a Goatwhore, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. The band hasn't done that bad of a job on this album. When looking at the recording quality for this album, the album has been recorded fairly well, but could use a little bit of work. The instrumentation on this album is very typical for this style of metal, they can play alright, but nothing really to the progressive standard. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocalist of this band is pretty good, but you can notice he is stressing a bit.He doesn't quite have the power in the screams and they have an old feel to them. He can scream though. With the lyrics, this band has a bit of an angry way of going about them. The band goes more for a how metal they can make the lyrics as opposed to the meaningful message behind them. Not bad but could use a little work to be more meaningful. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea of this album. Misguided Aggression have made an album that just has the feel of not fitting into the popular scene and being more for the old metal fans in the run down bar in smaller towns. As We Break - Hopeless Days

As We Break have released their debut album titled "Hopeless Days." This album has the feel of being a very hardcore record. These guys have a sort of feel like the band letlive, Sworn In, Expire and new Senses Fail, so if you like those bands, you could like these guys. These guys have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded pretty well but could use some work to get the vocals up and the instrumentation could use a little work as well. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are pretty good for the style the band is trying to do but the lyrics could use a little work to be more meaningful in a way that hardcore kids could latch onto. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick any song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. As We Break's debut album is a decent effort for a band just getting into the scene. They have made four songs that could use a little work but are definitely listenable, while having the ability to still progress as a band. HarvestingPeace have released his debut album titled "Nature Vs Nurture."  HarvestingPeace is the brain child of Jimmy Van Pham, who started this project and is now releasing his first official album, and here it is. This is a very acoustic album, so think or people like City And Colour as well as SayWeCanFly for the sound you'll here on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded alright, but it could use quite a bit of work here as the album goes too loud in certain areas, as well as the strumming being too loud, while going back to being quiet again. On the instrumentation side, this album is pretty average on the music side. Now onto the lyrics and vocals, the lyrics are pretty good, but they could use more meaningful themes but the vocals are decent here, you can hear them and the singer sound good. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen so you get the idea of the album. HarvestingPeace is doing alright here for a first album, hopefully he keeps going, keeps progressing and we may see a solid album at some point from Jimmy. Misguided Aggression's debut full length album is one that really brings metal feel to the forefront. This album gives you the sort of Lamb Of God, Machine Head feel, so if you like them, then you should like this album. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly decently but could still use just a little bit more work, and the instrumentation is alright as well. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the  vocals are okay, they could use some more work but the lyrics are pretty good and meaningful here. If you are looking for a single for this album, give the song "Our Kingdom Come" your attention as this is the best song on the album and give you an idea of the feel of the album. Misguided Aggression have done a pretty good job with this very metal album. Hopefully this band just keeps plugging away and keep progressing in their music. Our Apologies are a band that are not afraid to let people know about their faith and beliefs. Their debut self titled album is not filled with the typical Jesus love you expect a christian band to sing about but rather just songs with good meaning and positive lyrics. Unfortunately when you listen to this album, you can tell that it needs work. The recording on this album is average at best and could really use some work. On the other hand the  ability of the band and the screaming of the vocals is not that bad. if you decide to check out this album, give the song "An Explanation (Be Greatly Appreciated)" as the lyrics are decent and positive plus it give you a taste of the album. Keep an open mind and look past the recording of this album and you will see a band that with a few tweaks and some progression, could really do something with what they have here. This is an alright debut and look forward to hearing what they come up with next. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)

Misguided Aggression have released their second EP titled "Our Saviours Daydream." This album is one that really brings out a heavy, thrashy sound to their music. These songs seem a bit grimy and really a dirty metal feel to them. The album has a similar sound to bands like Lamb of God, or a Machine Head. Lamb of God, especially in the vocal sound. So if you like those bands, you could really like this album. These guys have done an alright job here. 

With the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a pretty average, or even just a bit below level. You have a decent instrumental recording, but the vocals seem like they could have been turned up more so that they hit you, and are easier to hear. Now this is a a pretty early recording for the band, so it is understandable. The recording also helps out a bit in the sound they want to establish. Looking at the instrumentation on this album, you can see that the band can certainly play, and their are hints of pretty decent guitar work, as well as bass a ll though the album. These guys can have a bunch of talent, and you be happy with it, it's certainly a high point here.

Now onto the vocals and lyrics. The vocals on this album are done really guttural and at times with a death growl. He has done a pretty good job here on the vocals, but they are a bit too low and not upfront enough to really give you a full experience. We feel that he has done a pretty solid  job at his type of vocals, and we can't wait to see him perfect it, with a better recording. Really good job though. With the lyrics, the band goes for songs that are pretty typical in metal. They have songs of war, death, destruction of self, and more. Theses are themes you hear quite a bit in metal, but it doesn't mean they aren't good songs or lyrics. We feel there is a bit more work to be done, but it's also so hard to hear the lyrics, that sometimes the brutality of the vocals is enough that the listener doesn't really need to understand what they are saying. Not a band job all in all.

If you are looking for a single to this album, there really isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea of the album. We didn't find one song in particular that jumped out as us.

Misguided Aggression have made an EP that expands on their sound, and gives them more songs to go out and tour with/fill a set. Their use of sound bites in their songs, enhance the overall experience the listener gets when listening to this album. We didn't think this album was too bad for what it is, and we can't wait to hear what else the band has. Listen to this album for yourself to decide what you think of it. This band is your typical run of the mill Metal band, nothing special, nothing new. These songs are not the best, as they are just pre-production tracks, but thats all the band got done. Don't expect anything other then very basic metal here, like you would see at the sketchy bar down the street. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
