Norris - Ladies And Gentlemen, We Regret to Inform You That Our Worldwide Anthem Is An Explosion

1. Gaia
2. Human Kindling
3. Worth Living
4. Our Worldwide Anthem Is An Explosion

Norris have released their debut album with a super long title. This album shows the band in a chaotic and noisy way. The band seems to have things going off in every which direction, which is a bit of a sensory overload. They have a similar sound to that of a band like A Textbook Tragedy, Job For A Cowboy or even a Pig Destroyer, so if you are into bands like this, you could really like this album. They have done an alright job here.

When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an an okay level. This may intentionally feel like this with all the chaotic time shifts and things, but the recording just kind of seems like a mess. Now yes it could be more clear and crisp, but this also helps with the feel the band is going for on the record. With the instrumentation, the band can certainly play, and they shift from fast to slow and back, but unless you can really focus, you'll not understand the talent here. We think this band can really play and they do a solid job at what they are doing here.

Now onto the vocals and lyrics, with the vocals, the singer has some very screeched vocals here, which could use some work, as they at times just sound like someone throwing up. They do however work for the music, but again, not as polished. The actual singing part on the songs could also use work. We do think there is potential here though. With the lyrics, they are a bit hard to hear and understand with the style of vocals. Honestly we can't really tell you what they are singing about, which sucks because that an element of the music lost, but we still listen for what it is.

If you are looking for a single to this album, there really isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea of the album.

Norris have made a debut album that really shows off what the band wants to do, and gives you an idea of the direction this band wants to go. This is a starter into the band and what they are doing. They have done a pretty good job here with how chaotic it is, and how the musicianship is on this album. We feel they did an alright job here, and it will be interesting to see what they come up with next. We aren't really a fan of this type of metal but we can respect what's going on here. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it (R.I.P.)

Killitorous - Pretend To Make Babies

1. Fecal Fellatio
2. C.A.T.P.A.B.M.W.E.T.L.M.F.P.A.C.

Killitorous have released their debut album titled "Pretend To Make Babies." This album shows the band in a Technical Deathcore way with its sound. These two songs garner and idea and bases for the band. They have a similar sound to that of Beyond Creation, Beneath The Massacre and even Neuraxis, so if you like those bands, you could really like this album. They have done a decent job on this two song album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an okay sound. The band has a bit of a lower quality sound here that needs to be louder and clearer. It does however help a bit with the dark metal sound of the band. The instrumentation here is pretty solid. These guys can play fast and rip it with their guitar work. This is an album that with at least this part, will get you to raise your ear to the music. great job. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on both songs are pretty decent. Granted that they are high shrieked, or low growled vocals, they really fit the music, and they do they fairly well. With this style of vocals, the lyrics are hard to pick up, but we don't feel this hinders what you get from theses two songs. We feel they can really do the growl vocals and it works. With the lyrics, on Fecal Fellatio, they sing about a sick person making a craigslist ad for sexual desires. This fits the gloomy overall of the band, but you surely aren't listening for the content, only for the most brutal thing someone could say. The other song is about a killer who is feasting upon their flesh and killing just to kill. These are again brutal lyrics, and something people just want to hear the craziest thing and be shocked. They have however done a good job on this, so it works well. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just listen to both songs and you'll get an idea for the band. Killitorous have released their debut two song album, and it gives people an idea of the band. Hopefully we can hear some more soon, as this is basically just a teaser until something more concreate it released. We think there is promise here and can't wait to hear what else the band comes up with. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think about it.

Ruptured Birth - Arachni Supremacy

1. Convergence Event
2. Arachni Supremacy
3. Necrotic Terraformation
4. Endoparisitic Incubation Paralysis
5. Cadaveric Amalgamating Entity

Ruptured Birth have released their debut album titled "Arachni Supremacy." This album is one that really brings the super heavy metal. These guys want to go hard and heavy, with super screamed vocals. This band has a similar sound to that of Suffication, or a Dying Fetus, so if you are into either of those bands, you could really like this album. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an average quality. When listening, you can hear the shrieks and less guttural vocals are pretty low, they don't have the same punch, but you can hear the guitars and everything else well. The instrumentation is not bad here. You can tell the band can play hard and fast music. They do stand up to other band of the genre and can certainly play. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, as we touched on the lyrics a bit before, the shrieks could use a little work and to be louder. The guttural vocals are pretty solid here. As this genre is known for vocals that aren't clean or clear, its had to get any of the lyrics out of it, but all in all, solid job. With the lyrics, as it is too hard for us to hear the lyrics or find them online, we can't really tell you what the songs are about. From what we are able to make out of the lyrics, thats what we can hear, is the evil style. We assume they are just the standard "evil" metal lyrics, which is what a lot of band who play this kind of music go for, but we can't say for sure. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Ruptured Birth have made a debut album that is super heavy and brutal at every turn. This is a great start for a band trying to get into the death/grind metal scene. Hopefully the band can get out more so people can find out about them. Good job all in all. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.

Darkness Rites - Darkness Rites

1. Intro
2. Avenge The Fallen
3. Hail Your Lord
4. Blood Is On My Hands
5. This Sensation
6. Outro

Darkness Rites have released their debut album titled "Darkness Rites EP." This album is one that really shows this band in that fast, screamy vocals, grindcore kind of way. These guys have the same sort of sound as a Suffication or a Pig Destroyer, so if you like those bands, you could like this one. They have done a pretty good job on this debut EP. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded alright, but the album as a whole could use a little better quality recording and the guitars just don't seem up front enough. The instrumentation is pretty good though, they can really play well. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals could use a little work on his screams, they just don't seem to be as well rounded as they could be. With the lyrics, they are pretty harsh and metal here. it seems like the bands goal with this album was to make it as brutal lyrically as possible. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the record. Darkness Rites debut welcome to album is one that really shows how brutal the band is trying to be. They have a good foundation here that could be something pretty decent with a few tweaks and a little better recording. All in all, this is a nice first EP for the band. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
