Adelaie have released their debut album titled "Running For The Ocean." This album is quite the pop rock album. These guys go for nice lite, polished poppy rock that seems to be all over the pop charts. They have a pretty similar sound to that of a Shawn Mendes or a Tyler Shaw, so if you like either of those artists, you could potentially really like this album. They have done a solid job here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a pretty standard. The album sounds nice, clear and crisp. The instrumentation on this album is pretty average, although the band can certainly play, nothing really grabs you here. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals here are done quite well. He can certainly sing, and he brings a very soothing, on note vocal style to the music and we think this is just what people want to hear. solid job. With the lyrics, Brock tends to go for songs about relationships and looking for more in the person you want to be with. These are very typical topics to hear in this music, especially for a younger debuting artist. really good start though. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Stars" your attention as it really starts off the album with a punch, and gives you an idea of how the whole album is. Adelaie has put out a debut record that shows the band can play and sing. We think there is for sure potential here, but hopefully the band can grow and show a bit more with their next offering. Cant wait to see what else is in store. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
