1. Pitiful
2. Compromise
3. Unwind
Hindsight have released their debut three song album titled "Unwind." This album shows the band just starting off and in the early stages of the band. They have that typical pop punk sound that is becoming pretty popular right now, but a little more on the subdued side. They have a similar sound to that of a Safe To Say or maybe a Citizen, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. The recording quality on this album could use a little work as it sounds a little rough and the vocals need to be louder here. On the instrumentation side, there are hints of potential that could bring this band higher up in the end. We like how compromise ends, with that fast hard punk feel to it, shows there is potential to really rock. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals here are not too bad, he can sing and you can hear what he is saying for the most part, but we think it's the recording that is causing it not to be the clearest. These could work. With the lyrics, the band chooses to give you messages about being down, making compromises to make you or others happy and just unwinding and being able to feel good. These are things people need to hear as they sometimes forget. They have chosen good messages for their songs. Hindsight have made their debut album sound not but, as it needs work, but you can tell the potential is there and the band could become something with some work. Hopefully this band can get out there and let people know more about them. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think about it.
