1. Indian Summer
2. Prove Me Wrong
3. We Can Get Through This
Wild Night have released their debut album which happens to be self titled. This one is quite on the indie side and really goes for a sound that is very indie and a bit classic rock at times. Similar bands to this album would be like their hometown heroes of Arkells and maybe a bit July Talk as well, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. They have done a not too bad of a job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has a bit of a dirty and old sound to it which is something they went for to get a more indie sound out of the album. The instrumentation is pretty good here, nothing to make you take notice, but they can play. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on the album are pretty nice and clear while being pretty soft at times. He can sing and the vocals work with the music. With the lyrics, they seem to be on that hard times, things not going well message and moving on. They do a pretty job with their message and getting it across here. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one so just pick a song and give it a listen, or just play the whole thing as it is only three songs. Wild Night have made a debut album that is very indie and fits well into that genre. Hopefully they get out a bit more and we get a bigger sample of music next time around. Pretty good overall. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of the album.
