Vast Robot Armies have released their second album titled "Little Creatures." This album is a continuation to the sound that the band formed on their debut album and gives the band an expanded library. These guys have an indie, alternative sound that sort of fits both markets. The sound is like an Arkells and possibly a Third Eye Blind in it, so if you like that mix, you could like this band. They have done a decent job on the album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly nicely. The album has some alright instrumentation on it as well. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are nice and clear, while not being too heavy to give the songs a light feel to them. On the lyrics they have hit on something that is slightly vague but also giving you what they want you to get from them. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea of this album. Vast Robot Armies are making something here that could be picked up by the alternative radio stations and make a wave. We think the band has done a really good job here and we hope to see them get out everywhere. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
