As You Like Me have released their debut album titled "Moving Forward." This album has a very post-hardcore feel to it. The band has a sound that remind us of The Word Alive or Like Moths To Flames, so if you like those bands, you could like these guys. They have made a pretty decent album here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, t he album has actually been recorded fairly decently and has a great post-hardcore sound. Looking at the instrumentation though, the band is around the average mark here. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the screamed vocals are pretty good, but the background vocals unfortunately could use some work as they just don't have the same quality to them. With the lyrics, they are alright here, they give you something that you can get behind and thats good. If you are looking for a single to listen to, there isn't one, so just pick and song on the album and it will give you the idea of the album and it's sound. As You Like Me's debut album is sort of a welcome to and gives you a breif idea of what the band is going for with their style and sound. These guys have something here that could really work, as long as they keep going for it and progress with what they are doing. We hope to see this band a little more. Good job. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
