The Wooden Sky have released their debut album titled "When Lost At Sea." This album is a sort of welcome to the band as it shows off the mixed folk and indie rock sound that the band has chosen to go for. The album has been done pretty well though. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly decently but unfortunately with any folkish band, the instrumentation is pretty average. Now onto the vocals and the lyrics, the vocals go pretty well with the style the band is trying to achieve as well the lyrics are really good and fit this music quite well. These guys have done a solid job of melding the two styles seamlessly. if you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. The Wooden Sky have done a great job here and this is an album worth giving a listen to. This band just needs to keep on doing what they are doing and soon enough they will make it. Give this album a listen to decide for yourself what you think of it.
