Crimson Shadows - Death, Power, Glory

1. Betrayed By Thy King
2. Dark Winters Night
3. Death, Power, Glory
4. Servant Of The Shadowed Moon

Crimson Shadows have really shows off what people can do in the metal community. On the bands debut release, they manage to turn up the metal to 11 and make you take notice. If you like Dragonforce or anything like that, you will like this band. When looking at the recording quality of this record, the band has done a fairly decent job, but the album could use a little bit more work in just the overall sound quality, it is just most prevalent in the screams. As far as the instrumentation, this band at least in the guitars, can really blow you away with the skill they have. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are pretty solid for the really shrieky and growly vocals. Although a little hard to hear, the lyrics on this album are pretty good as well. The only knick to this album is how long the songs are, some may find them too long to listen to but we are fine with it. If you are looking for a single  for this album, there isn't one, so just pick a track and give it a listen to see what the feel of the album is like. Crimson Shadows have a bunch of talent here and although this isn't the kind of  metal that has everyone going crazy for it, this can still get pretty big, so hopefully just keep plugging away and playing shows, someone will see for sure. Listen to this album and decide for yourself what you think of it.
