On Farewell To Freeway's debut album, the band shows off their version of the popular metalcore that is going around. The screamed vocals along with the clean singing feels more like early screamo then metal, but they are riding the fence here with their music. Now when we look at the recording of the album, it definitely needs to be better. The album is rough but you still can listen to it. The music its self is pretty good and the lyrics probably bring this album up a notch as they are the better of this album. If you are looking for a song to listen to, there is no single, so just pick a song and listen to it so you get the albums feel. Farewell To Freeway have something here that with a few tweaks could really work and bring them up. These guys have a foundation, but with a better sounding album, they could really show off what they do even more. Good first effort for the band and hope to see what they tweak in the future. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
