A Sin For A Prayer have released their debut album titled "Conception." They are a heavy band with with a nasty feel to their music, which is great for metal. The band has a style that most metal fans will enjoy and has those nice raspy metal vocals that the new wave of american metal has. When you look at the recording of this album, they could of done a bit of a better job, its missing a little clarity here and there, but other then that its pretty good. Their music sounds pretty decent, the playing and everything and the vocals are alright, the background vocals need some work though and the lyrics a lacking just a tiny bit. If you are looking for a song to listen to, the band doesn't really have a single here, so just pick any song and you'll get the feel for the album. These guys have something here that could work, it has a pretty solid starting to get into that metal scene. Just keep hammering out songs and tweak them just a little, hopefully there will be something for theses guys. Listen to this album. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
