The Midway State have released their debut full length album titled "Holes". This album features songs from the previous album reworked and re-recorded to a better quality, so if you have heard their last album, you might recognize some songs. They have followed along with the same sound and style as their previous album. These guys have a similar sound to that of Foster The People, Walk The Moon, and Needtobreathe so if you like those bands, you could like this album.

When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly well. It has a nice clear, crisp sound to it and really feels like label debut should. The instrumentation on this album is pretty average, but thats what the target audience is looking for. Anything that takes away from the pop elements and being able to be played on any radio station is going to affect these guys. This band can certainly play though, and they show it on this album. It's just a good old straight played album with no flashy instrument tones to it.

Now onto the vocals and lyrics, with the vocals, the singer goes for a very high pitched, but in tune style. He can certainly sing, and that is show throughout the entire album. The vocals are very "The Voice" which is pretty much going to a vocal coach and having them teach you exactly the way to sing. Those are not bad, as they have their time and place. Their singer has a well tuned, clear voice that you can tell just what he is singing about. Positive all around. With the lyrics, most of this album is about a relationship that broke apart and death. This feels like the lyricist had a really hard breakup and this is his album he wrote to get over the pain he feels. We aren't saying this is a bad thing, and music is therapy, but this seems a little much being the listener. We do however say there are a few good breakup songs, and people are certainly going to be able to relate to this. We just wish it wasn't all the same. 

If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Never Again" your attention as this is the best new song that will show you just what this album is about. 

The Midway State have made an album that really shows off the bands sound to a bigger audience, and gives them a fuller package for people to grasp onto. We think this is a pretty decent album, but it isn't something that a ton of people are really going to latch onto and remember. There are many pop rock songs out there and bands looking for attention, this just doesn't seem to have an it factor to it. This to this album to decide for yourself what you think about it. Hello Kelly have released their second album titled "Easy For You To Say." This album is one that really follows the sound and style that the band had gone with on their debut. It is quite, poppy, fun rock that also delivers the message about being good and living life the best you can. They have a similar sound to that of Hawk Nelson or a OneRepublic, so if you like those bands, you could really like this album. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of the album, the album has been recorded to a fairly well standard. The instrumentation of the album has an alright but still fairly solid sound and playing ability. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are done quite well, as the vocalist can certainly sing and sing clear. He has a nice voice that you can tell just what he is saying and has a smooth sounding voice. With the lyrics, they go on with a message about being good, doing things for others and knowing that things are going to get better. Very positive, uplifting lyrics are the essence of this band. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of this album. Hello Kelly have continued on to make an album that goes just as well with their debut. Hopefully these guys can get a little bigger and bring more people to their music. Pretty decent job overall. Grand:PM have released their debut album titled "Party In Your Basement." This album is one that is very poppy, keyboard driven rock music that really goes well with that tween style of music. This band would be similar to that of a Metro Station or a Faber Drive, so if you like those artists, you could like this album. they have done an alright job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded not too badly. The instrumentation on this album is quite average, but the band can play. Maybe a little more technique in their songs would really bring up the songs. Now onto the vocals and lyrics on this album. The vocals are not bad, the singer can sing, but they just seem really bland and in the background. His vocals just don't really grab you or bring you in to want to listen. Now with the lyrics, on this album, they seem to be a little on the negative side, with songs about girls and how they are a waste of time, while the song red black seems to take the opposite of the sad girl song by saying he is the jerk. Some of the lyrics could use a little work as they are very typical and just don't quite fit the happy fun  music they are going for. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Red Black" your attention as it is the best song on the album and it gives you a feel of the album. Grand:PM have made a debut album that has some potential here, with some good backbone behind it. With some tweaking and better quality recording, this could possibly work. Hello Kelly have released their debut full length album which just happens to be self titled. This album is one that really has the feel of being a nice pop rock uplifting album that you can listen to again and again. These guys sound similar to a Hawk Nelson or a Stellar Kart, so if you like those bands, you could like this band. They have done a really good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly decently, while the instrumentation on the album is average but still very listenable for sure. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are done pretty well, nothing to wow you with, but they are for sure clear and sound nice, while the lyrics are quite positive and they have really good messages to them. We do like these lyrics and the stories in them. If you are looking for a single to listen to, give the track "Paper Bag Princess (Hey Elizabeth)" your attention as this song is the best on the album and it gives you a really nice idea of the album, plus the lyrics are on a positive note with relationships. Hello Kelly have made an album here that is very easy to listen to and can appeal to a wide variety of music fans.We would however like to see the guys work to hitting the regular market with their music so it can be heard by more people. Hopefully with more touring and getting out there more, the buzz can spread as well. Tey have done a really good job on this album though, we really like it. Summerside have released their debut full length album titled "Lessons On How To Detach." This album is one that really shows off the pop rock sort of pop punk feel that is loved right now. The band has a sound that is similar to a band like Not By Choice or even a Hedley, so if you like those bands, you could like these guys. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album could of used a little more quality and a bigger sound while being louder. This one just seems to be missing something production wise. With the instrumentation, it isn't bad but it is nothing to wow you, just straight decent playing. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are done fairly well and you can certainly tell what he is saying well. For the lyrics, these guys have written songs that just seem to be pop punk songs about friends, girls, etc and they fit what the band is doing. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "To Friends" your attention as it is the best song on the album and it really shows off the feel of the album. Summerside have made their debut, welcome to album one that shows the band has some potential here. It is nice to start off and have a decent base to work with for your next albums and this is what they have. We can't wait to see what the band comes  up with next and we hope the band really gets out there and makes a name to get more buzz about the band. Prize Fighter have released their third album titled "Come Hell Or High Water." This album has a look and a feel of a pop rock band that has the right sound for making it in the music industry. The band sound pretty good and if you like bands such as Faber Drive or Hedley, you should like this. When looking at the recording quality of the album, this album has a really good sound but the instrumentation is nothing that will blow you away, which is not saying it isn't still good though. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals could use a tiny bit of work to be a little less whiny on a few songs but the lyrics are pretty decent here with this band. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick any song and give it a listen to see what the album sounds like. Prize Fighter have something here with their third album. Hopefully they can just keep continue plugging away with it and keep playing shows so the right person sees them. Aberdeen have release their second album entitled "The Less Than Three EP <3." This album shows a band that is trying to fit in with the pop rock genre that bands like Faber Drive and The Latency have found themselves in. The songs contained in this album all have a common theme, love and heartbreak. Not that's not to say it's a bad thing to write songs about that it is just what everyone else does. Now the recording and quality of these Camp Rockers is decent, and their playing is alright too, so there is nothing to pick from there. All in all this band is alright and trying to appeal to a younger crowd which is okay. If you don't want cookie cutter pop rock then look somewhere else, but if your willing to take a chance, this band may surprise you. They have since called it quits. (R.I.P.)
