Through These Words have released their second album titled "Revision." Revision shows the band in less of that southern metal that they had been doing on their previous album and go with a more straight forward metalcore vibe here. The band has done a good job transitioning and have ended up making a better album for it too. When looking at the technical things with this album, the band seems to be better with the playing ability, the deep screams are good and the sound quality of the albun has been done well. A little thing to pick at would be the loss of the southern rock aspect of the songs, as this was what made the band unique since almost no one does it in this style of music. The song to listen to would be "Reliant" as this song really hits hard, but has decent clean vocals in the background as well and gives you a taste of what the rest of the album is like. |All in all, this is a pretty decent effort from this band on their second release. Make sure you give this album a listen, its worth it.

Through These Words debut EP is one that some people didn't quite like, fortunately for me, I am not one of them. this band blends metalcore with a hint of the south, to a tune that is almost magic to the ears. These guys are one of the up and coming bands in the scene here, and if you like this kind of music, have you been living under a rock? watch out, these guys are good, so put them in your ears.
