On their third album Stuck Out Here have written a punk album that fits in quite well with what the indie punk bands seem to be doing right now. This band has an album that has a decent groove while also being a bit raw and feeling very sincere in what they are trying to do. When you look at the recording, this band has actually done a decent job of getting and album that you expect a band like this to sound like. The playing is that complex but that's okay because the lyrics go a little above that and balance it out. If you are looking for a song to listen to, just listen to one of the middle two as they seem to have more of a groove that you are able to get into and feel more. Stuck Out Here are getting better and better with what they are doing with their music, so pay attention to them now and give this album as listen, you should really enjoy this one.

Stuck Out Here's second album "Last Night, This Morning" is an album that confirms the band as an indie punk type of band. These guys have that sound where you have a raw indie feel to your band but are a little faster and hit the punk vibe. This band is similar to bands such as Pkew Pkew Pkew, Single Mothers or Pup, so if you like bands like this, you should like this album. They have done a pretty good job here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a little bit less than average here. We do however feel this was a planned sound for the band to sound a little rough and grimy for more of that punk feel. It doesn't sound too bad. The instrumentation on the album is pretty standard here. These guys haven't really gone out and thrown all the tricks at this album, which is part of the sound. Punk bands don't really have crazy solos or precision playing on their albums, so it fits right in. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are very straightforward and clear enough for you to hear just what they are singing about. At times they do have a rougher vocal sound when they do the duel sung vocals. Now onto the lyrics, the lyrics on this album are quite interesting actually. The band seems to just be singing songs about life and the things that happen with living life. As one of the lyrics say "there taking out my wisdom teeth." This is pretty much just an easy to listen to album. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Quiet Bears" your attention, as this song gives you the best feel for how the album sounds. Stuck Out Here have made their second album compares to their previous in both style and sound. We feel like this album gives them more of a selection to do a bigger set and hopefully they go out and play more. We think these guys don't really have one thing that separates them from the rest, but maybe just attacking things could get them noticed. Not bad on this one. Stuck Out Here have released their debut album witch happens to be a sampler titled "Legendary Beard Sampler." This album shows off the band in a very dirty punk rock light. These guys have the feel of a band like Fidlar or a NOFX type of band, so if you like those bands, you could like these guys. This album is actually not that bad for a debut sampler. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded alright. The instrumentation on this album is a bit better so that is pretty good to see. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals could use a little work here as in parts it sound a bit forced but you can tell what they are saying, the lyrics on the other hand are actually pretty good on some of the songs so they do have that to give them some real promise in the future. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Stuck Out here have made a sort of welcome to album that gives you the idea of what the band is going for with their sound and it also gives the band a start. These guys have done an alright job on this as a sampler album. We would like to see what a non sampler would sound like. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.

Streetcore have released their debut album titled "I'll Be Found One Day". This album shows the band in a grungy bar punk sound that is really good for that dive bar kind of place. This album has a similar sound to that of The Argolites, Menzingers or even a PUP, so if you like any of these bands, you could like this album. They have done an alright job here. 

When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an alright level. The album seems to have a rough undertone in the vocals and as a whole, doesn't sound crisp. This may actually help the bands sound be more authentic though. The instrumentation on this album isn't too crazy, as the band is more straightforward with their style. This band just plays and that it, and they can do it. Nothing is really going to excite you here.

Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are a bit harsh, but have a very 90's punk vibe to them. He can sing, and it certainly works with the vibe the band is going for. The singing is nothing to write home about, but it isn't bad. With the lyrics, the band sings about something more to life, relationships, girls, being authentic, figuring out life, and more. This album really feels like a band trying to figure out life. Theses are topics many people can get into and relate to. Good job.
