Moneen have released their second album titled "The Theory Of Harmonial Value." This album continues with the unique sound that Moneen brought to the world on their previous effort. Their mix of Alternative indie and punk music is something that needs to be heard, to fully understand the band. They have a sound that is hard to say anyone else sounds like them, but our closest guess would be Say Anything or Billy Talent. If you are a fan of them, you may like this album too. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly well and has a nice sound. The instrumentation is quite good on here as they are able to be chaotic but still flow well, pretty decent here. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals for this album are done pretty well, not the greatest ever but still done pretty well. He can sing and it goes with the music they are creating. With the lyrics, the band seems to go in that sort of, try to figure out what we mean route, while still giving a good story in their songs. Not the most conventional root for lyrics, but it works. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "The Passing Of America." your attention as it is the best song on the album and shows off their style well. Moneen have done it again with their second album. This one stands out as different and unique from the rest of the pack, while still staying close enough to their counterparts to get the fans. Well done album and we hope to see more soon. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
