Something You Whisper have released their latest album titled "Beautiful Sins." This album is very typical in the style and sound that you the fan has come to love about this band. These guys write really catchy songs that you are going to want to listen and sing along to. On this album we see that these guys are pretty similar to that of We Came As Romans or even a Hands Like Houses, so if you like those bands, you could really like this album. Wes and the guys have done a really good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded very nicely and has the perfect album production for their style of music. The instrumentation on this album is very similar to those big bands of the genre, and this could stand up right beside any one of them. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album sound pretty much flawlessly. He can certainly sing and it gives the album just that right blend of heavy/melodic elements which we love. Great vocal style. With the lyrics, the band hits a dark undertone with their lyrics, but also just sing about things like love and loss. Wes also sings about just everyday struggles that everyone has, in a bit of more story feel. They do a really awesome job on the lyrics and it makes it feel like Ice Nine Kills sort of lyrical style, if you know them. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the title song "Beautiful Sins" your attention as it really shows off the strength of this album. As well you get a feel for the rest of the album with this song. Something You Whisper have made another great album here and it is a shame they are not any bigger. Hopefully with finding the right people behind their music as well as getting outside of their hometown more with better bands will elp. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. We love it.
