Apostle Of Hustle have released their second album titled "Folkloric Feel." This album is one that shows off the band on their indie with a little latin feel here. This is a little different without going out of the regular indie fans realm. This band has a similar sound to bands like Broken Social Scene and even Born Ruffians, so if you like those bands, you could really like this album. They have done a pretty decent job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a fairly well standard, but could use just a little more to get the sound a bit better. The bands instrumentation here is nothing special but the band can play and they do have a nice solid style to it. Good overall. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals here are more of a soft spoken type of vocal style, but they do have a nice sound to draw more people in. Although the music can drown out the vocals a little at times, its not too bad overall. The singer here can sing and pretty well too. With the lyrics, the band touches on subjects like life in general, relationships and a bit of interpreting. They have some different ways of saying things but all in all they do a good job and give that light feel to them. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of this album. Apostle Of Hustle have done a pretty good job at making an indie album that just fits in exactly with what a lot of the other bands are going right now. They have something here that could really work. Now we just hope they get out there and play more. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
