Wildlife have released their second album titled "Strike Hard, Young Diamond." This album is one that shows this band in a very indie way. They have indie gang vocal, indie lyrical content and everything about this album just screams indie band. They have a similar sound to that of a Hollerado or a Arcade Fire, so if you like those bands, you could really like this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, it has been recorded fairly well considering it is their first full length album. The bands instrumentation is not bad either, you can tell they can play and it sounds good. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on the album are pretty good, he is clear and you can just get that indie feel in his voice. They do at points have a feel like they could of used some more production in the vocals though. With the lyrics, they are more of that backwoods, non traditional topics to sing about, but they do a decent job in giving the right content to engage people. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Wildlife have made an album that is truly indie and will really appeal to those fans. With a little more production on the vocals and a little more work on the gang vocals, this album could really be a hit. Hopefully they keep at it. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think.
