1. The Wreck
2. Just Ask
3. The Devils Work
4. To Love A Place
The Weathered have released their debut album titled "Onteb50." Now we do not know what Ontebe50 means, but what we do know is, this group is made up of a bunch of talented musicians. Featuring a cast of some of their hometowns successes (ex. Baptized In Blood, Shotgun Rules) is intriguing off the bat. The fact that this album doesn't sound like any of their previous works is a statement in its self. This album has more of a folky, laid back feel to it that pretty much anyone can get into. it may be that they are showing their age, or it may be that they have really matured, but whatever the case may be, this album is quite good. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded quite well here. The bands instrumentation has been done very well also. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals have a really nice soft sound to them and they really work well with this music. With the lyrics, they are perfect in melding the story together so that you understand just what they are talking about, they have done a really great job on them. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of this album. The Weathered have done a really solid job on their debut album here. If you are into softer music or just want to check out what these guys are now doing, you will like it. These guys have really done a great job on this album. Now all that is left is to get out and tour. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
