Something You Whisper have released their third album titled "From The Other Side." This album follows along with the sound and style the band has gone for with their previous albums, but this one just seems to have everything all packaged perfectly to have that nice blend and sound here. These guys have a similar sound to that of Sleeping With Sirens and Hands Like Houses, so if you like those bands, you could like these guys. They have done a great job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded quite well while even having two of the I See Stars guys working on it a bit. The instrumentation isn't that over the top, but it is solid and they can play. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals have been done quite well and they are nice, clear and right on tune. Their singer certainly has a nice voice. With the lyrics, they are not bad, a little light on the subject matter with self loathing and being down as well as relationships, but all in all the lyrics go well with the music and bring the total package all together. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Anti-Conscience" your attention as it is the best song on the album and it gives you the feel of the album. Something You Whisper have made a great record here and it is quite nice to see that. We do however hope that the band gets out there more and plays everywhere. They are at that stage where the pieces of the help need to start being put together and get this band bigger. They are worth it and have the stuff to make it. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
