Camper have released their debut album titled "Rule Of Thumb." This album shows the band in a very heavy loud, noisy light. They have a somewhat similar sound to that of a Cancer Bats or even maybe a Cursed, so if you like those bands, you could like this one. They have done an alright job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded alright, but it could still use some work. They were probably going for that dirty, loud, noisy feel though. The instrumentation on this album is pretty average but thats okay here. Now onto the vocals and the lyrics, the vocals here seem to work for the style that the band is going for but with the lyrics, they seem like they need a little fine tuning to get a more real, meaningful, vibrant message out in their music. If you are looking for a single, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Camper has done an alright job on their debut album. It has a louder, harder sound that people who like this genre will be into and it set off how this band will go in the future. We do hope that the band will progress and make this something that can really go far. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think about it.
