Moneen have released their debut album titled "Smaller Chairs For The Early 1900s." This album is quite a unique one as it has a really all over the place sound to it, but till feels like they are doing it in a organized way. If you are into the mid 90's bands that played emo music, you may be into these guys. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been done fairly well for what it is and the instrumentation has been done really well with all the time changes. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album have been done pretty decently for the style they go for and you can hear him, while the lyrics are a bit out there, but they do have a point and if you are into what they sing about, you can really get a good understanding of their harder subjects they sing of. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "The Passing Of America" your attention as it is the best song on the album and it give you the best idea of the feel for this album. Moneen have made an album here that is quite different than you have probably heard in this music but they have done a good job on it. We can't wait to hear what a full album will sound like with an expanded sound. We hope to see them get out more and do stuff. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think about it.
