Sumo Cyco have something thats not quite your typical rock and we can't really put our finger on it. With their female vocals and quirky not really metal and a bit heavier then rock along with a dark feel to then, this band is hard to categorize. When looking at the quality of the recording of this album, it has been recorded fairly decently and the band seems to be able to play quite well but the music just feels too jumbled of too many elements to really enjoy a whole song. Now with the vocals and the singing, Skye Sweetnam can sing very well and the lyrics are pretty decent with a darker theme. If you are looking for a single for this album, give the song "Go Go Go" a listen as this song has a chantable chorus and it shows off what the sound of the rest of the album is the best. Sumo Cyco has a chance to get bigger and bigger on having a singer that was in the spotlight previous to this band and the fact that this music is different. Hopefully they will progress with t heir music a little more and make it more of a narrow path so  its more listenable on a full scale.
