Mockingbird, Wish Me Luck have a unique sound with being a punk band that has an indie sort of sound. The vocals sound very indie while the music sound like a punk band. This is hard to give examples of other bands with this sound, but it does sound good and hits two genres of people. When looking at the recording quality of this album, it has a good sound while still sounding grungy like the band wants it to. The instrumentation on this album is pretty good as well. Now looking at the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are rspy but clear and the lyrics have a solidness to them. if you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to hear what the album sounds like. Mockingbird have a pretty good thing going here with this album, hopefully they just keep it up and continue to write. we are hoping this band plays a few more shows as well, since they seem to be few and far between with them.
