The debut album from Hands & Teeth is something that can't be described in just one word. This album is very indie and it almost has a 60's kind of feel to it. they have a soft feel to the album like a light airy soft of rock here. When you look at the recording, it has been done pretty well and the instrumentation is alright here as well. Now onto the vocals, the band can really sing but the pitches and how high they decide to sing at parts is just awkward and hurts the song. These guys do not have to be so showy with the vocals, turn it down a notch. Onto the lyrics, they do have some pretty good lyrics so that's a plus too. If you need a song to listen to from this album, the band hasn't made a single, so just check out the first song and go from there depending on how you like it. Hands & Teeth have something here that could really work, just some tweaks on the vocals, especially the high male vocals, and this band could really succeed with what they are doing. Make sure you listen to this album and see what the band is up to. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
