Diemonds is a band that lives and breaths rock n' roll and you can hear that in every note that they play. These guys have a very 80's metal feel that is a bit like a Lita Ford with the female vocals and for the middle aged metal fan, this is just what they are looking for. "In The Rough" is raw and hard with its rocking but the quality of the recording could use some work, as the vocals just seem to be in the background too much, they don't feel in your face. With the music, it has a real 80's groove and feel to it, its been done decently, so have the lyrics. If you want a song to listen to over the others, there isn't really one, so just pick a song and listen to it so you'll get the jist of the band. Diemonds have something that could work, being a bit of that old school metal that a lot of metalheads seem to be into. They do a decent job of it, so give this album a listen and make sure you follow what the band is up to.
