1. The First One Is Free
2. Equinox
3. New World Disorder
4. Like I Do
5. Over
Adrian Pain & The Dead Sexy are a band that has a unique sound. For a band that on their debut album they define themselves as "All-Core" its a bit of a high praise for themselves. The two different singing styles don't work here and it just makes what could be an alright record and drops it down a notch. We applaud their attempt, but both singers styles seem to clash with each other instead of complimenting. When you look at the recording, there definitely needs this sound just seems like the band wasn't recorded and the clean vocals are the only thing that has an okay sound to it. The bands playing here and the lyrics just seem to also be just average, nothing really pops here. If you need a song to listen to, give any song a listen as none of them have anything memorable to them, so pick one and listen at your own risk. We like the bands ideals and what they are standing for with the music, plus the fact that they are trying to show that new and old metal is for everyone, but this is just something that needs a lot of retooling to make it have a feel that both type of metal fans will like. Maybe a few tweaks and on a new Dead Sexy album, they could work out the kinks. Listen to the album and make your own opinions on this band.
