Black Lungs is the project of Wade MacNeil after the band Alexisonfire broke up. This band is a more acoustic, alternative band with sort of a raspy but unique vocal sound. The album really works because no one is really doing this sort of sound right now and it just fill a niche in the music scene right now.When you look at this band, they have recorded very well and have a great sounding album. The playing on this album is not crazy but still solid and the lyrics on this album are quite good as well, its very well rounded. If you would like a song to listen to, give the song "Hold Fast (Sink Or Swim)" as this song is probably the best on the album and it has just a well rounded feel to it. This album is just what Wade needed after Alexisonfire broke up and it showed that each member can do things outside of the band that will bring them success. Give this album a listen as it is something fans have to hear at least once. Hopefully he goes and makes more albums like this. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
