Youthinasia have released their debut album titled "High Class Low Standards." This album is one that shows the band in a very street punk sound here. The songs are fast, loud and sloppy, with a mix off a little bit of ska here and there. This is perfect for the true punk kid. They have a similar sound to that of Belvedere or a Strike Anywhere, so if you are into either of those bands, you could really like this album. They have done an okay job here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded pretty poorly, but on the other hand, it does help with the sloppy punk sound the band is going for. The instrumentation on the album is nothing that is really going to perk your ears up, but they can play the style of punk they are going for. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album need a bit of work, as it seems to be less of how well the vocalist can sing, but more style and delivery. You can hear him, although it may be a little harder due to the quality of the recordings. All in all, nit bad really. With the lyrics, the band seems to go for the typical punk messages, of relationships, doing things on your own and not caring what others say, as well as more joking sort of songs like blink 182 used to do. We don't know if this blend really works or not. as bands have gone away from these lyrics nowadays, but it's not bad either way. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Youthinasia have made a debut album that shows off what the band wants to sound like. They have a bit of work to do, but it isn't bad as it has a decent foundation. Now all that is left is to work on the sound, get a better recording and get out more so people can find out about them. Not bad all in all. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
