Holding.Sky have released their debut album titled "Love.Versus.Logic." This album shows the band in that alternative emo scene, having a rock sound but also screaming. This band fits in perfectly with the new style that's coming out in rock and punk right now. They have a similar sound to that of a Moneen or The Used, so if you are into either of those bands, you could really like this album. They have done a fair job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a pretty good quality for the time. The instrumentation here is nothing that is going to blow you away, but the band can play and they have a sound that could get them places. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on the album are done really well, their vocalist can certainly sing and he has a voice that carries. We feel this is great for this album and style of band, we just wish the recording stood the time. With the lyrics, the band has decided to go for songs about hypocritical people, society and just how people act in general. These lyrics are somewhat able to be related to by the average public, so they can hit a decent target market with them. Not bad overall. Holding.Sky have made a debut album that really shows the sound and style the band is going for with their music. This album could a little bit in the recording quality, but it seems to have a decent sound and we feel people can get into this. Hopefully the band can get out more and bring their music to more people. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits. (R.I.P.)
