Escapes - Escapes

1. Red On You
2. To Die For
3. Shutters
4. Useless
5. Don't Phase Me
6. Apache Stone

Escapes have released their second album which is self titled. This one really shows the band in a hard rock and post hardcore type of feel. There isn't really a band that sounds like this mixing both of those genres together. They have done a really great job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded pretty well, but it could use a little touch up here and there. The bands instrumentation on the album has been done pretty well also. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are done really well, their singer can certainly sing and it is really nice to hear such melodic, clear vocals. With the lyrics, they have written some well thought out lyrics with subjects that you can get behind and understand. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick any song to listen to to get the idea of the album, or listen to the whole thing because every song is so good. Escapes have made an album that really has everything going for it, they really have potential to do something really big with this music. Hopefully with this, they can really get some buzz and get it going. Overall, this is a great album. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
