Arcs have released their debut self-titled album. This album shows the band in a sort of punky rock with a bit of folk mixed into it, this is something different and nice to hear. When you first listen to this album you get a sense of a band trying to do something outside the box. Their album has been recorded to an alright standard and the band can play, plus the vocals from the singer are pretty decent. Something you also notice on this album is that it goes up and down in the form of the musical style of each song. They have such a vast range in their songs. The song to listen to is "Ghosts Of Shopping Malls" as this song is the most get up and rock song on the album, they have done a good job on it. Take that song down just a notch and you have the rest of the album. All in All, this album has been done pretty well and it needs to be listened to, so give it a chance and see what Arcs are all about. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
