Bathurst have released their debut full length album that they have decided to made self titled. This album gives Bathurst a more legitimate feel for the band, as their previous work was only two songs. When you first listen to these songs you get the new pop punk feel and the rawness of the songs. There are a few parts here and there that you can say should of been recorded a little better, but all in all the recording is decent and so is the bands ability to play. Now onto the lyrics, they have mostly angst with them all and subjects of things they don't like in the everyday. The song to listen to would be "Forty Hours" as this song seems to have the most relatable lyrics and the song just has that anthem feel to it. This song is reworked from the previous two song album, but it is still good. All in all, this album is a decent effort for a band and their real debut album. Keep an eye out for this band as they seem to have something here with these songs and the sound. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
