Dog Bus have released their debut album, which they have decided to self-title. They have made an album that shows off the sound and style they want you to know. This band is different with their comedy rap. Their sound is similar to that of MC Lars or MC Chris, so if you are into these artists, you could like this album. They have done an alright job here. 

When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an alright sound. This album is listenable for sure. The instrumentation on this album isn't the best, as its been done with a lot of drum tracks, beats, clips, etcetera.  They haven't really put much into this part of the album, but thats not really what people who are into this style of music are paying attention to. There could of been more done here, but thats ok. 

Now onto the vocals and the lyrics, the vocals on this album are not the greatest by any means and they certainly need work, but hey, props to them for trying and just doing it. With the lyrics, Dog Bus goes for very typical, and cringe lyrics, but thats okay because when look at them as more of a fun and comedy rap, it's not actually too bad. They even decide to scream "Dog Bus 2008" when the album was dropped in 2009, so nothing serious here. They sing about robots, girls, partying, candy, lemonade and ice cream. These are pretty silly topics, but hey, it's fun.

If you are looking for a single to this album, give "Robot" your attention as this is the song the band decided to make the single and it gives you a good idea of the vibe of this album. 

Dog Bus have released their debut album. This one is pretty cringy and the fact that it's a goofy rich teen rapping with his significantly younger brother makes it worse. Be that as it may, we still can't stop listening to these songs. Give this album a listen and decide for yourself what you think about it.

Manafest has released his second album titled "My Own Thing." This is a long album filled with indie hip hop stylings. You can tell he has talent, but it feels really indie and old school with his style of hip hop here. He has a similar sound to that of Lacrae or Da' TRUTH, so if you like those artists, you could like this album. He has done a pretty good job on this album. The instrumentation on this album isn't too much, since rappers don't usually use many, but the tracks and occasional scratch sound pretty standard really. Nothing to the beats or scratching will really turn your head. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are quite good. He can certainly rap, and its at a pace where you can hear just what he is saying perfectly. You can tell he has the skills and could take this somewhere with a few tweaks. With the lyrics, Manafest sings songs about what is right and wrong in life, relationships in various forms, as well as street life. He has very positive and real lyrics that many artists are afraid to talk about, which is pretty refreshing. All in all, pretty decent. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "What I Got To Say" as this song is the best on the album, it has a positive message, and really shows you what the album is all about. Manafest has made an album that is a little bit too long, but gives you a more solid idea of what he is about. This isn't something that can grab the casual hip hop or rap fan, but we feel fans of the genre will be able to get it for sure. Decent album and we can't wait to see what he comes up with next. Manafest has released this debut album titled "Misled Youth." This album really shows off his christian rap stylings here. He has something that isn't too much different than most rappers, but his lyrical content is different than most. He has a similar sound to that of Lacrae or Da' TRUTH, so if you like those rappers, you could really like this album. He has a cool sound. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an alright sound. It could use a little bit of work, but it is an older album and holds up pretty well. There isn't much instrumentation here, as much as it is more just a beat in the background to keep him rapping and some scratching. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are done very well. Manafest can certainly rap and rap well he does. He can keep up to the beat, and his vocals are clear, this is quite nice. With the lyrics, Manafest sings about having troubles, getting caught up with crutches and having GOD to help you. Now we know this isn't for everyone, but he does a great job on everything here. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Manafest has made a debut, welcome to album that really shows you the type and style of rap he wants to do. He also really shows his faith through his music, so you really get that in his lyrics. Manafest has done a pretty solid job on this album overall. Now all that is left and we hope is that he can get out there more and get more of Ontario into his music. The Go Time have released their debut album titled "All We'll Ever Have Is What We've Got." This album is quite the mix of different genres. It is nice to see a band that is willing to experiment with different genres that haven't really been put together before and have it come out sounding so well. If Forever The Sickest Kids and Down With Webster had a baby and screamed while it happened, this would be the result. So if you like a bit of rap with your pop punk, this could really be something you will like. these guys have really done a great job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded averagely. The album could really use a bit more production on it and the volume needs to be up in the background here, but other than that, it is pretty good. On the instrumentation side of things, the album is pretty average, but it has a lot of elements to it. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are done quite well here with all three different singers have a role that really defines this album. With the lyrics the band seems to have that party style ans talks about that in their lyrics just like Down With Webster do. If you like happy party lyrics and songs about girls, this is going to do well for you. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of this album. The Go Time have really made a different and unique album here. It mixes a bunch of genres well and keeps it fun. These guys have something here that could really work and bring them up pretty quite. We hope that this band can just get out there and let everyone know about them, start the buzz. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. DUBBS - Generation Party

Dubbs is an electronic, dubstep band that features a bit of rapping in it along with a drummer. This is Dubbs debut album called "Generation Party." This album is quite unique because usually you don't get an actual band that does techno and then mixes rep into it like this band does. They have done a good job at it. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album could have been recorded just a bit better, but it still has a great sound to it and the instrumentation of the band is pretty decent as well. Now onto the lyrics and vocals, the lyrics aren't really of anything that meaningful but they still have that party feel to them, while the lyrics come out pretty decently as well. If you are looking for a single for this album there isn't one, so just pick a song and listen to it to get the feel of the album. Dubbs have done a great job on this album, it is innovative, it's different, and it hits a market of people that have previously not been hit before. Hopefully the  band continues on with what they are doing and we get to see a lot more from these guys. Listen to this album to decide for yourself if you like it or not. Dual Seize has released his debut album "From Where To There Vol.1" On this album you can tell that Dual Seize can rap, that is a given. His style reminds you of  more of the underground hip hop artists that fill the hip hop clubs all over. He spits verse after verse in perfect fashion, and the lyrics are not about girls, money, etc that fill the airwaves of today's popular rap/hip hop, his songs actually have stories that go with it. One of the things that could be a bit better is his songs seem a little quiet, the vocals could be delivered a little louder, heavier and with more confidence, but that will come with time. A song to listen to would be "Fireworks (Detour 1)" as this song has a good story and shows you what the rest of the album is going to feel like. This album has great lyrics and the quality is there, now just take it to the next level. Give this album some time, as it is a solid first album

Shad has released his debut album "When This Is Over." This is an album that shows of the talents that Shad has. His lyrical content is something to be impressed with, as well as his ability to play guitar. Shad shows a lot of potential with what he was done on this album. The feel here is more of an underground, less polished hip hop, but it feels more real here which is good. The quality of the recordings is alright too, so that doesn't really take away from the experience. One of the better songs on this album is "I Get Down", so listen to this song first  to get the feel of the album. Shad is really good, so even if you aren't a hip hop or rap person you'll love him, so give this guy a chance and listen.

Crossword has released his second solo album titled "Different Light." This album shows a guy who is more into the underground hip hop game then that of the mainstream. His lyrics have hints of where he is from and about more real everyday things than just girls and drugs. Crossword has a very good way of doing his lyrics into more of a story which seems to feel more real. His song "Something New" is the one that seems to be the best of his songs on this album, so give it a listen first. Overall, solid album from a solid rapper, so give this album a chance.

Molly Gruesome has released her debut album "Spitfire." This album is an alright offering from the new rapper. When listening to this album you get the feeling that she seems to sort of sing rap her songs but its still alright. You can tell that she is just rapping over samples, that's what most rappers do, but it feels like she just pressed play on the drum  machine. The lyrics for this album are pretty negative, but then again, what do you expect for rap?. One thing about this is that the recording quality could of been a bit better, the rapping seems to be a bit of a quality loss there. The song "Back To The Grave" has some really awesome lyrics to it about zombies and wis very enjoyable to listen to, so give that song your attention the most. All in all, its just an okay album, listen to it anyways though.

Naturally Born Strangers have released their debut self titled album. This group is an amalgamation of three rappers. their hip hop on this album feels a lot more old school, so if you are looking for mainstream stuff, you won't find it here. Rich Kidd does very well rapping on this album, and so do the other two. Not one song really stands out on here, but they have made the song "No One Knows My Struggle" their single. Give them a listen if you are into this kind of thing, otherwise you will really not like it.

Dead Celebrity Status's second album took forever to be released. Due to this, they basically disappeared, and no one really remembered them. This album came out with everyone saying, oh they still exist?. Sadly as this bands time became longer and longer, so did the quality of the music. The album is a sub par performance to a band that can actually do a good job with the whole rap rock. The best words to use to describe this album is "meh". Nothing special, nothing new on this whatsoever and even the single doesn't do much for this release. Give it your own opinion though.
