Forever Cadence - Something Greater

1. What It Means To Be
2. Distressed
3. Anchored
4. Tyrant
5. Currents
6. Chapters
7. Sovereign
8. Departure
9. Consistencies
10. Monarch
11. Something Greater

Forever Cadence have released their second album titled "Something Greater." This album has a faster punk feel, while still being heavy and filled with metal sounds. While listening to this album, we get the feel that the band was listening to bands such as Counterparts a lot when making this record. We also hear The Ghost Inside in this album, so if you are into either band, you could like this album a fair bit. They have done a pretty good job on the album. When looking at the recording quality of the album, this album has a pretty good sound to it. The album could use a clearer, more crisp feel to it, which is pretty evident in the lower vocals. Not sure, but the band could have been going for a little more rough sound to get a more punk feel in, but it's still pretty good. The instrumentation on the album isn't bad either, the band can certainly play, but nothing that is going to turn your head and say wow. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album feel a bit forced. He has a bit of a rough, sort of struggling feel in his voice which throws the recording off a bit. You can however hear pretty much just what he is singing about so that is great. They have backing vocals that sound solid, and you can hear just what he is saying too. All in all, not too bad here. With the lyrics, the band goes for songs about relationships and people trying to break you down, looking for meaning, staying strong, not giving up, moving on when you need to, etc. These are all pretty typical, but important topics to talk about. We feel that it is always good to remind people to up and positive, than to be down. Good job on the lyrics here. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Sovereign" your attention as it is the best son g on the album and gives you a good idea of the rest of the album. Forever Cadence have made a more positive album here that will grab your attention with the lyrics. We feel they have made an improvement from the last album and things are looking up. Hopefully the band will tour more and give their own area some attention . Not a bad job on this album. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)

3. Last Resort
4. Chop Suey
5. Room To Breathe
6. MakeDamnSure
7. Buried A Lie
8. Helena
9. The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows

This is the split album Constellations and Forever Cadence did of cover songs. Constellations is more of a metal type band and Forever Cadence is hardcore. Both bands are pretty good at what they do but when it comes down to it, Forever Cadence seem  to have done a better job on their covers here. When you look at the recording of this album, it seems pretty average,  not great but not bad either. The Forever Cadence songs seem to be more sticking to the bands style and singing the songs while Constellations seems to be trying to sound like each band. The singing is alright on here though for the moat part. As this is just a covers album, there is no single so just listen to them for what they are. Fans however say that Constellation's cover of Chop Suey is the one they like the best. As far as Forever cadence, All of them seem to be alright, so just pick a song. This album is just a fun little thing between two bands that are friends, but please Constellations stick to your own stuff, its way better then the background vocals and failed attempt at putting DJ's into the music that happened here. Give this album a listen and decide for yourself what you think about it. Both bands have sadly since broken up (R.I.P.)

Forever Cadence - We All Have Heart

1. Our Last Night
2. Strung Out
3. Contempt
4. Standpoint
5. Johnnie Walk Her
6. Constant Reminder

Forever Cadence have released their debut album titled "We All Have Heart." This album is one that really shows the band in a standard post-hardcore type band. They have that hardcore feel while still being a metal band along with clean vocals. They have a similar sound to that of a Ghost Inside or a Memphis May Fire, so if you like those bands, you could like this one. The band has done a not to bad of a job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been record with a decent quality and has a sound that you can get behind. Forever Cadence has not to bad instrumentation on this album, nothing to blow you away but still pretty good musicianship. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are pretty decent, with nice screamed vocals that are also clear enough to make out the words. He has a nice scream. The clean vocals could use a little work in the background as he seems to not have had a much practice, With the lyrics, they have that hard nosed, I'm not afraid of anything type of lyric. These guys really play on the manly man, Hardcore, so hard, style of lyrics here and they do certainly appeal to the right crowd, but not everyone. If you are looking for a single, give the song "Our Last Night" your attention as it is the best song on the album and really gives you the feel of the album. Forever Cadence have made a debut album that really shows of the band strong and gives you the direction this band wants to go with their music. These guys have done a pretty good job on the album and hopefully with a few touches here and there, this band can really bring it to a level that they make it. All in all, pretty good album. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
