Crystalyne - Follow

1. Air I Breathe
2. More
3. Loaded Gun
4. Let's Do Something Crazy
5. Alive
6. Follow

Crystalyne have released their fourth album titled "Follow." This album seemed to come out of nowhere, with no real planning or buzz to it. The album that did come out here is one that doesn't really grab you right off the bat. This is something we noticed with the previous album, and after a listen to this one, feel it will be the same way. They have a Paramore, Hey Monday, Fall Out Boy sort of feel to them, so if you like those bands, you will enjoy this offering from the band. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded really well. It has a nice sound and everything is clear on the recording. With the instrumentation, it has nothing that will wow you, but it is solid. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are done well, just as the previous two album have been done, she is clear and on point. On the lyrics, they are very, lovey, happy, cheery lyrics that all pop music seems to be about, nothing of real substance or meaning here, but sometimes you just need that. If you are looking for a single, give the song "Let's Do Something Crazy" your attention, as this is the one that grabs you right off the start and has a pokemon reference in it. Crystalyne have again made a good solid album here. Now make sure you listen to it about 10 times before you make your decision because if you don't give it enough listens, it won't grow on you and you will be disappointed. Hopefully with the next album and going forward, they will give more info and not just quit for a bit, as well as play more shows. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.

Crystalyne - T.Y.A.S.

1. Punks Don't Dance
2. Secret
3. Anchor
4. Let It Go
5. Amnesia

Crystalyne has released their third album titled "T.Y.A.S." This album is one that takes a collection of five of the songs from their previous album and strips them down to the bare bones to give you a fully acoustic album. Now the album still has everything you liked from the songs in the original version, just without all the extras to them. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album could of been recorded better, but it has a  bit of that DIY, indie feel to it. The instrumentation is very basic, with a little bit of keyboard in at part and shows it very plainly. Looking at the layout of the songs, they do seem to be a bit too spaced out and the flow of the music doesn't flow quite as well as the originals, but still done well. Now the vocals are done pretty well also, not quite like the originals, but they do still hold up. If you are looking for a single to this album, obviously there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea. Crystalyne have done a pretty good job on their acoustic strip down of their songs and its nice to see them try this out and give you a different side of the band. Good job. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of the album.

Crystalyne - The Remedy

1. Punks Don't Dance
2. 6 In The Morning
3. Secret
4. Ghost
5. Let It Go
6. Anchor

Crystalyne's second album The Remedy is sadly not quite as good as their first. The lyrics in this album just don't quite live up to the previous album. That being said, it is still your typical Crystalyne album. This album is full of pop driven punk that you can tap your foot and dance to. Give this album a listen because it's one that you will like, especially the single "Secret".

Crystalyne - Navigate

1. Wolves
2. Weapon
3. Never Look Back
4. Just Fine
5. Deceiver
6. Navigate

With Crystalyne's debut EP, they have made one of those lovable female fronted bands, that is pop, with just enough punk to not turn away any potential fans. This falls into one of those, just right categories. All of the songs on this EP are well written, and have that catchiness that will get them stuck in your head for hours. I really like what this band is doing, and you will see them more. note: They are not Paramore.
