This album is a split album from four Ontario Punk and Ska bands. All four bands are from the Toronto area and they all have a bit of a different sound. They are quite what you'd expect from ska bands and even though it's four bands, they go together quite well. All of the  bands have done a pretty good job here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album could have been recorded way better and the instrumentation could have been better for the most part here. Now every band sounds like they are able to sing and the lyrics from each band are alright for ska lyrics so that good, but we do wish that The Makeshift Heroes songs were not all live and were studio versions of the songs as we are not a fan of live recordings. All in all, each band has done what they figured was a good job on this split and they all do seem to fit together with a nice flow to them. Good luck to all the bands on this split album and we hope they all can get better with age. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. All but The Flatliners have called it quits (R.I.P. to those bands)

The Flatliners have released their debut album titled "Demo." This album gives the band a very ska punk feel which some people are not even aware they did. When you first listen to this album you notice how rough it is and the very amateur feel of the album. This band does have something there though, you just have to look past the recording. Now obviously the recording is really bad and needs tons of work, but the seems to be able to play and the lyrics are alright as well, so there are positives here. There is not really one song to listen to over the others as they are all pretty bad, but this is something you just have to hear to say you've heard it. Overall, this album is a very rough start for the band, there are pluses here but with some progression and tweaking this could be really great.

Little Sunday's debut album is one that sort of follows the typical rock path. Their sound is one that you would typically hear a band playing on the regular new rock radio stations. They have a pretty average sound to their music. When looking at the recording of the album, the recording is alright but nothing to write home about and neither are the lyrics really, but the instrumentation is alright, so don't look at it as all bad. If you are looking for a song to listen to, there isn't really one, so just pick any song and you'll get an idea for what the album sounds like. Little Sunday are doing the standard rock, so hopefully they progress or tweak their sound a bit so that they can stand out from the other bands. Listen to this album and decide how you like it yourself.
