Treble Charger have released their second album which they have literally decided to name it self title. This album follows along the same sound and style of their previous album nc17. The album has a very alternative rock sound to it, so if you like that, give it a listen. Similar sounding bands would be bands like Our Lady Peace, Everclear and Third Eye Blind, so if you are into those bands, you could really like this album. They have done an alright job here.

When looking at the recording quality of this this album, the album has been recorded to an alright, but kind of low tone quality. They seem to have recorded it with a quiet, low, soft vocal to it. The instrumentation here is pretty decent at times, but for the most part, it's pretty standard. There isn't anything that is really going to make you turn an ear, but the band can play for sure.

Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album seem to have the same tone to them no matter what song you are listening to. We certainly would wish for a bit more "personality" to the songs, but thats not to say he can't sing because he can certainly do that. You can hear the words, so he is nice and clear to get the meaning of each song with it. With the lyrics, the band sings about arguing, feeling you always make a mess of things, relationships, being on the down turn with someone and more. These seem to be a little bit different of a way to say the things that most bands are singing about. It's nice to see since you don't want to hear it over and over. We feel people can connect with this and go in with the down and out approach this album has.

If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Even Grable" your attention, as it is the best song on the album and really gives you an idea of what the albums sound is like.

Treble Charger have made their second album one that really gives them more to pull from and a bigger list to play sets. We feel this is really going to fit in with the alternative rock crowd and can't wait to see what else is in store for this band. If they can just get a little more mad, it could skyrocket the band. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. We thought it was pretty okay. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
