2. It's Only Love
3. I'm Gone
4. All These Words
5. Thinking Of You

The Brilliance have released their debut album titled "Love, Hope, Fear & Consequence" This album has a very pop rock feel to it, driven by keyboards. It sound pretty typical for pop rock. They have a similar sound to that of someone like The Rocket Summer, Jacks Mannequin or even a Switchfoot. So if you like those artists, you could like this album. They have done a pretty good job here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has a decent sound, but it feels a little low and off the floor. This album is just missing a clearer, crisp overall sound. The instrumentation isn't bad on this album, it's pretty straightforward, but they do show hints of something there though. These just just pretty much play regular pop rock. Now onto the vocals and lyrics. The vocals on this album sound very much like he is trying to over reach, and to make his voice more powerful, almost operatic. He is clear, and you can understand every word he sings, but this feels more like he is trying to be someone else instead of himself. He doesn't have to try to Freddy Mercury the album. With the lyrics, the band goes for songs about love and girls for the most part. This is pretty typical with the genre and type of music they are trying to sing. We just wish there was something more to these lyrics that meant something more. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen, as all but Brilliant People pretty much sound the same. The Brilliance have made an album that doesn't really have anything unique or new. This feels more like trying to be someone else, and if they just went a little more on their own path, this could be something. We don't think it's bad, just something we have heard before. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think about it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
