Falset have released their debut album titled "Here We Are." This album is one that shows the band in that sort of spacey, high vocaled, rock scene. The band has a sound that is certainly in right now in this scene. They have a similar sound as bands like I See Stars or a DayShell, so if you like either of those bands, you could really like this album. They have done a solid job here. When looking at the recording quality of the album, this album has been recorded quite solidly. It has a pretty professional sound to it. The instrumentation on the album is nothing to really blow your mind, but they have a good solid ability to just play and give you the type of music you are looking for. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are done quite nicely. You can certainly hear him and the lyrics are really clear. He reminds us of the DayShell singer with his voice. We think he has a great voice and has done a good job here. With the lyrics, the band has decided to go with songs about relationships, choosing the wrong path, not being the only one feeling the same things and more. We feel that these are pretty easy subjects to sing about so they can relate to people more and help people connect with the music. Nice job on the lyrics. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Falling Off" your attention as it is the best song on the album and gives you the best feel for the album. Falset have made a welcome to album that shows off the kind of music and style the band want to do, as well as building a foundation for the band. We think the band did a great job on this album, not it's just time to get as many people to know about them as possible. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
