6trung have released his debut full length album titled "Chance For Changes." This album is very much a debut and beginning album for a new artist. He is very acoustic here and has the one man thing going. 6trung has a similar sound to that of a City & Colour or a SayWeCanFly, so if you like those artists, you could like this album. He has done an alright job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded better than we expected, but it still needs some work here. The recording just doesn't have the fullness. The instrumentation is pretty average and bland, but that is because 6trung has decided to be a solo acoustic artist and you can't really do much more than the standard with that. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are a little different as the singer has a unique voice, but not in a good way. He unfortunately has a whine in his voice that makes the music hard to get into, especially when he says, remember my voice. We think the album isn't that bad, but vocally we just can't get over the voice. With the lyrics, this album seems a little bit on the more childish and just not as evolved in the lyrical content as others. This is something we hope in time will be corrected, but as it is a debut album, we still give him credit and think he did an alright job. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea of this album. 6trung has made a debut album that, yes it has some holes and needs some work to be done on it, but we understand first album are never polished. We see what he can do and hope on the next one he can progress. Good Job. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
