Always Outnumbered - Demo

1. Everyone Moves On
2. One Last Glance
3. Brand New Start
4. Whatever The Reason

Always Outnumbered have released their debut album which happens to be a demo. This album shows the band having a very punk feel to them. They sound pretty much what you would expect from a fast punk band. They have a similar sound to that of a MXPX or a Lagwagon, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. They have an album that you can see potential in it. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded very rough and not the best recording. What you can see and hear is the ability and potential of the band. The instrumentation of the band is alright, it's not going to blow you away but it doesn't suck either, it is kind of just where you want it to be. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are okay, they have that punk feel you want from them, but the recording isn't the best so you can't really get a true feel for everything here. We did like them and he can sing, so there is that. With the lyrics, the band goes for that moving on after something happens theme to all their songs here. From what we can tell, the singer is looking for a fresh start to things and we get to hear it right here. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just listen to the four songs and you will  know what the album is about. Always Outnumbered has given us a glimpse into their live and what they want the band to be like. We feel there is potential here and we can't wait to see what a full, well recorded album from them sounds like. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
