Prophets have released their third album titled "The Youth." This album is one that really shows the band doing the hardcore metal thing. This has a good hardcore feel to it and its nice to see a full length get released by these guys. They have a similar sound to that of a Stray From The Path or a Being As An Ocean, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. They have done a pretty decent job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a fairly decent standard. The instrumentation on the album is not anything to blow you away, just good and solid. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals have been done fairly decently as the vocalist can really do the hardcore screamed vocals. They are not screamed to the point where you can't tell what he is singing about those so that's the perfect amount. With the lyrics, they have a bit of a different way on the album as they are not just about one subject, they cover many topics of being lost, feeling down, and the things that happen in life, such as life and death. These guys have done a really good job on the lyrics for this album. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of this album. Prophets have upped their game, brought more into what they do and made them more of a band to look at. This is a fairly good album and we are glad to listen to it. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
