Rob Moir has released his debut EP titled "This Is The Lie." This album is an acoustic ride into the mind of Rob. He has a similar sound to that of a City & Colour or a Casey Baker & The Buffalo Sinners. If you are into either of those artists, you could really like this album. He has done a pretty good job on it. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly well. The instrumentation is not bad either for a solo act, he can certainly play. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals have been done well and he can really sing. He has a great voice and it goes perfectly with his musical style. With the lyrics, they have quite the way with words and songs about love. He doesn't go the typical route with his love songs, he gives it a more mature spin and we like that. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album.
