High Holy Days have released their debut album titled "All My Real Friends." All My Real Friends is an album that really shows off that typical radio rock sound, in that over produced, made for radio rock. These guys have the same sort of style as a Finger Eleven or a Theory Of A Deadman. If you like those bands, you could like this album. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly decently. To top it off, they can play pretty well also. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals here are on that raspy rock side which is kind of offputting, but there are people who like it and he can sing pretty well, plus it is quite clear. With the lyrics, they aren't bad, but they could use a little work to get some more meaning into them, although they do have a couple just nice, don't have to think about them rock songs. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "The Getaway" your attention as it is the best rocking song on the album and makes you think of summer. It also gives you a feel for the album. High Holy Days have done a pretty good job on their debut, here we are, album and it is nice to see that a little older bands are getting noticed with their sound as well. Now all that is left is to get out there more. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
