Texas King have released their debut album titled "Texas King." This album shows the band in a very light rock and even indie feel here. They have a sound that seems to be able to be enjoyed by a vast variety of people which is good for the band to be able to push further. These guys have a similar sound to that of The Fray or even Switchfoot, so if you are into those bands, you could like these guys. They have done a pretty decent job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly well here, while the instrumentation is solid also. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals here are very nice, soft spoken lyrics that really drive home the realness they are trying to lay on you with these lyrics. These lyrics are quite real and hit you hard with subjects that you can relate to and feel strongly about. The band has done a good job on the lyrics of these song. If you are looking for a single to listen to, give the song "Foster Mountain." your attention as this is the best song on the album and it really gives you the feel of the album. Texas King have done a really great job on this album. It is nice to see and hear as this is one of those albums everyone can get behind. We hope to see these guys out there playing more to bring the buzz they should have. Great job. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
