1. Loved And Lost
2. Cheap Blockbuster
3. Make me Whole
4. Sweet Memories
5. Bucket List
6. Good Ol' Days
The Maysides have released their second album titled "Loved And Lost." This album follows the same style and sound that the band established on their previous album. They have a very old school 90s punk singing style to their music which is alright. They have made a pretty good album here. When looking at the recording quality here isn't one, so just pick a song of this album, the album has been recorded fairly decently and the bands instrumentation is solid but nothing that is going to blow you away. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals could use a little work, they are nice and clear though. With the lyrics, they are just missing that really meaningful, grab onto story that you relate to so that you really get into it, they are not bad though. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to give you an idea of the feel of this album. The Maysides have done a pretty good job on their second album. This one gives them a bit more to pull from when they play live, so hopefully they can get out there more. We hope that with a little more progression they can lock in a sound that will really push them further. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think about it.
