Arietta have released their debut album titled "Migration." This album is one that has a mix of that alternative rock and indie rock. The singer seems to have a bit of an all over the place singing style, so if you like that and the new Canadian indie music that is coming out right now, you could really like this band. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded quite well and the instrumentation is pretty solid on the album as well. Now onto the vocals and the lyrics, the vocals are what you would expect  in this style of rock, nice and clear with an edge to it. With the lyrics, they seem to be a little harder to get the concept of them, but they are quite decent, with a message that seems to be positive. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Old Habits Die Young" your attention as it is the best song on the album and really gives you an idea of the feel of the album. Arietta have done a pretty decent job on this album and it really shows. They have a nice sound and it should carry them to new listeners. We do however hope that they get out there a little more so that they can get more exposure. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think about it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
