Uncut have released their debut album titled "Those Who Were Hung Hang Here." This album has a very indie feel to it with a mix of that 90's alternative in there as well. They have a mix between a sort of Arkells and Third Eye Blind feel to them, so if you like those bands, you could like Uncut. They have done a good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album could of been done just a little bit better on the vocal volume, but other then that, it is pretty good. The bands instrumentation is pretty average on the album though. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals could use more power and to be louder, but sound good and the lyrics are lacking a little at times, a little more substance to them and there could be something really good here. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Uncut have done a pretty good job on their debut, welcome to sort of album and all 10 plus intro give you something to look forward to. With the natural progression the band makes, this could really be something. Listen to this album to decide what you think of it yourself. Let's hope the band gets more shows going to get more attention.
